Cowes week is the World’s largest and most spectacular Sailing Regatta with a legendary social ambiance, from live music, entertainment, open air bars, food stalls, to black tie events and VIP hospitality suites.

Cowes Week first took place in 1826 and now around 800 boats and 8,500 racing competitors enter Cowes Week every year.
Over 100,000 people travel to Cowes every year to enjoy spectating shoreside.

Head to the Castle of the Royal Yacht Squadron to hear the cannons start the race at 10am every day and watch the racing from the shore at The Green & The Parade.

There is plenty to see and do during Cowes Week, both shoreside and visiting the town with many excellent pubs, restaurants, and shops to visit too.

Fireworks take place on the final Friday of the event, weather depending.
